No matter what stage of business you’re in, chances are you want to achieve more and make a bigger impact. No one can deny that the number 1 thing a business needs in order to survive as well as thrive is a constant flow of new clients. Without new clients your business cannot survive, much less thrive.
Many entrepreneurs struggle with what marketing strategies they should implement, what activities to do first, and even how to have a winning mindset to accomplish their goals.
Below, I’ve listed the first 4 marketing tips to help you create more revenue in your business in 2015.
1. Adopt a Winning Mindset. In order to be a winner you must first think like a winner. You have to adopt the thinking, actions and habits of winners. Ask yourself: Am I behaving like a million dollar business owner? There are some key activities that millionaires do that ordinary people just do not do. You have to be willing to put in the time to reap the benefits. Read more, study more, work smarter not harder. Most importantly, surround yourself with other winners. Birds of a feather flock together.
2. Survey Your Ideal Clients. Get to know what they want and need. The best way to find out what your prospects want and need to ask them. You must find out what challenges them and what keeps them up at night. People buy because of pain or gain, in order to make more money and close more sales your products and services have to address an area of pleasure or pain for the target audience.
3. Create a Magnetic Plan. Don’t just settle for the status quo. Make sure your marketing is magnetic and compelling so that your target audience, self qualifies for what you’re offering. When you attract your prospects because you’re speaking their language, it’s harder for them to walk away without making a purchase or at least making a note that what you have to offer is something they want to revisit.
4. Create S. M.A.R.T. Goals: Specific/Strategic, Measurable, Attainable, Results-Oriented, Time-bound.
You’ve heard that smart goals are the best type of goals to have. It’s pretty easy to agree that attainable goals are just better all the way around.
When you have attainable goals you are:
A. Able to reach them in 90 to 120 days
B. More motivated to do more to reach bigger goals,
C. Less likely to be overwhelmed,
D. Challenged to achieve more,
E. Inspired to get more creative.
