Chasing Clients button

Imagine what it would be like to have a steady pool of clients knocking down your door to work with you? Think of how good it would feel to have new clients every single month that you didn’t have to hunt down. It’s possible to have clients chasing you rather than you chasing them.  Let me forewarn you, having clients chase you, requires that you put some very strategic client magnetic strategies in place.

Building a solid business where clients know, like and trust you as well as eagerly pay to work with you takes time. Let me be honest, it’s not easy. However, if you use the principles I’m about to share with you, it will take you less time and effort in the long run. So let’s look at these 4 effective principles of how you can attract clients with ease.

Subscribe to a Service Mindset.

Think of it this way, no matter who you are and what you’re buying you want someone to provide you with good customer service. When you adopt a mindset centered on being of service to your clients they will feel catered to and important. Most service based professionals who are plagued by having to chase clients give off an aura of fear and desperation which is not attractive.  No worthwhile client is going to respond to this type of negative energy. So save yourself the headache and get confident about what you have to offer and present it from a place of service while highlighting the value you are capable of bringing to the prospect. Having an attitude and mindset that focuses on serving the needs of your ideal clients will keep you from having to constantly chase them.

Showcase Your Expertise and Educate.

One of the easiest ways to attract new clients is to educate people on pertinent information that they are already interested in or looking for intelligence on. Email marketing and blogging are both great ways to showcase your expertise on a wide variety of topics in your industry or niche. Your potential customers are on-line searching for solutions to their problems and challenges and you should be there.  Being known as the “go to resource” in your niche will make you highly regarded as an expert in your industry. Make no mistake about it; people in your target market are looking for professionals who are seen as experts in your industry. When you develop a consistent platform whether it is your email newsletter or blog, where you provide helpful information to your target market, you will be viewed as a reliable source of expert information. The people, who you are uniquely gifted to serve, will be instantly drawn to you.

Be Clear about Your Brand and Who It Best Helps.

In order to attract clients to you so that you’re not doing all the chasing, your prospects must be able to determine what you do and who you help, quickly and easily. If there is any doubt or question in their minds about the outcome or benefit that people get when they work with you or buy from you, you will be stuck chasing rather than attracting clients. Your brand is the totality and essence of you and everything you have to offer. Your brand identity involves how you want your consumers to perceive your brand.  What perception do you want people to have in mind when they think of your company, product or service? If you clearly articulate, communicate and promote your brand essence and its value in your marketing, your ideal customers will virtually raise their hands to say, “That’s me.” Your goal is to entice your ideal clients to self qualify for whatever it is you have to offer.

Paint the Picture of Possibility.

It’s no secret that people crave motivation and inspiration. Just look at social media and you’ll see millions of people sharing motivational or inspirational messages on any given day. No matter how corny or dorky we might find inspirational messages to be, there are days when any given person needs a pick-me-up, pep talk or image of how great things could be.  Operating a successful business can be a daunting task, especially if you have to constantly chase customers.  However, when you paint a picture of possibility of change, hope or evolution for the people you can produce a positive outcome for; it positions you as the answer.  In essence, you hold the answer to whatever problem they are facing and you are offering them hope.  It’s the hope for what is possible that sparks an emotional connection for the prospect and attracts them towards you.

If you’re wondering how you can attract clients easier, then stop chasing and start attracting with these 4 solid client magnetic principles.  It is so much easier to have clients chasing you rather than you having to chase them. In the long run, you will be happier working with people who are a better fit and get value from what you bring to the table.
